Buy and Sell Parts

From time to time, the EPB Group has a variety of surplus parts associated with various types of Southern Region Electric Multiple Units and loco hauled carriages. These range from parts for pre-war stock and post war stock, most being for EMUs. Ideal as a gift with a difference or for other restorers of railway vehicles, these parts are open to offers. Some have a suggested price which may be negotiable.

We also require some parts that are not available 'on the market' or are difficult to source. These usually are parts that were removed from our units during modifications throughout their years in service that we wish to return and parts that were removed during refurbishments. Such parts we wish to obtain for our units and are prepared to make offers for.

Please contact us if you are interested in buying or selling any of these parts. Please note that for certain parts we would be greatful to borrow (where not available for sale) to use as patterns for replicas to be made from. Please confirm when contacting us.


ITEMS FOR SALE

CEP SEATSWe have a quantity of good condition post-refurbishment CEP type second class seats in two and three seater formations available for sale. Back to wall and back to back available, finished in good quality blue blaze moquette. Smoking type (with ash trays in armrests available soon). £ Reasonable offers.
HopperWe have a quantity of post-refurbishment CEP type hopper bodyside window frames. In fair condition, all in working order requiring cleaning only. Some frames contain no glass but come with glazing rubbers. Please specify on ordering with or without glass. £ Reasonable offers.
SinkWe have two good quality ceramic sink units (without tap holes) from refurbished 4 CEP unit 2325, with single wall mounting spray head, floor plungers and opperating valves. Will sell individually. £ Reasonable offers.
