This DVD features a selection of quality film from many sources. It includes Southern Railway trains, HALs, BILs and CORs etc - they are all here on this production. From the 1930s, a superb bit of film of 4 CORs being constructed at Lancing & Eastleigh Works, brief cab rides in 1934, inauguration service to Portsmouth in 1937, trains in the snow in 1947, Double Deckers in service and Class 71s on the Newhaven boat trains. Other trains in the South - Oerlikon from Euston, Eastern Region trains at Ilford and samples of vintage Underground stock which includes lines of withdrawn "Met" locos. A big feature on the Brighton Belle is also included. Finally the DVD ends with electric traction in preservation on the East Kent Railway, filmed over 5759's 50th Birthday Celebrations.
